Why Be a Partner Organization?

Partner Organization and Aligned Organization
PURPOSE – The purpose of this document is to define the roles, responsibilities, and rewards of organizations who have signed up as partners and those who are simply aligned.
Definitions
Partners – Partners are organizations who have completed and submitted the Partner Sign-up Form. Partners are aligned under Lancaster’s Common Agenda using the shared values and agree to the Rules of Conduct.
Definitions
Aligned Organizations – those who may work in collaboration with the Partners and/or its partner organizations, but have not yet – or are not able to – completed and submitted the Partner Sign-up Form.
EXPECTATIONS
Partner organizations are not required to pay fees or dues, however matching contributions and/or inclusion of backbone operations or fellow partner organizations in grants or philanthropic funding is encouraged. Partner organizations agree to the Rules of Conduct and Commitments.

- Expert communications consultation from backbone staff
