Ben Webber
Ben’s family moved to Lancaster when he was a three year old. Much of his childhood was spent among the agrarian landscape of Manheim Township, playing in the streams close by, and camping whenever possible. His work as a civil engineer is nearly four decades long, the largest portion as a municipal engineer.
A few years ago, he became passionately involved in local history with particular focus on our community’s development and it’s impact on the waterways that have been ignored for far too long. Amidst many presentations, field investigations, research, collaborations, and written publications, Ben seeks building public awareness and finding opportunities for us all to share the tasks that can help us restore a balance with our environment.
