Jenny Engle
Jenny Engle is a Certified Professional Communicator who owned her own green plus certified business, JKE Marketing & Communications, for more than 25 years. She helped her clients to develop and implement sustainable management and communication strategies as well as social responsibility programs. In addition, she was a nationally known speaker, diversity and inclusion trainer, contributing author of two books and various national publications, and a HuffPost Live contributor. She also served as Executive Director on loan to the PA Wine Association, helping to establish a statewide and national presence. Jenny continues as a judge for several international communications competitions, is a past national president of Women in Communications, past chair of the Matrix Foundation, and a recipient of numerous national and state honors, including PA’s 50 Top Women in Business. With the onset of COVID, she reactivated her teaching certificate and now serves as a long term and daily substitute teacher in various school districts throughout the county.
A member of the Lower Susquehanna Basin Regional Committee, Jenny is an associate board member of the Lancaster County Conservation District and a director of the Lancaster County Conservation Foundation. She also is a graduate of the Climate Reality Leadership Corps, Leadership America, and the Lancaster County Master Planner Program. A past president of the LC League of Women Voters, she currently is co-chairing a consensus study of the Federal Judicial System. Jenny has served as a mentor throughout her career and is a member of the Advisory Committee of the Discovering Pathways Program of the Lancaster Chamber and serves as a liaison to Lampeter-Strasburg High School. She received her undergraduate degree from Millersville University and her MPA from Penn State.
