Michael is the Director of Projects for the Lancaster Clean Water Partners, where he oversees the strategic execution of the county’s ambitious clean water initiatives.
A graduate of Dartmouth College and an enrolled member of the Conestoga-Susquehannock Tribe, Michael has built a career at the intersection of environmental action, tribal sovereignty, and capacity building. In his previous roles—managing grants for renewable energy projects with Indigenized Energy and advocating for economic sovereignty at Native American Bank—he developed his ability to align diverse stakeholders and manage high-stakes funding. Today, he leverages those skills to turn strategies for clean water into tangible, in-the-stream progress for the farmers, families, and communities of Lancaster County.
Michael brings a deeply personal and historical perspective to the preservation of Lancaster’s waterways, rooted in his dedication to his tribe’s history and heritage in the region. Outside of his work accelerating clean water efforts, Michael enjoys playing the cello, distance running, and gardening.
