Michael De La Parra

Michael is an emerging professional studying at Temple University. A Business Administration major with a deep interest in the intersection of landscape architecture, water management, and community interaction. Through the Watershed Leadership Academy, Michael is gaining hands-on experience in sustainable water practices and the critical role water plays in urban environments. Experiences like this inspire a passion for designing spaces that harmonize natural systems with human needs, particularly in how people interact with water in their everyday lives. Eager to continue his professional development, Michael is actively pursuing additional internships and opportunities focused on green infrastructure, aiming to contribute to resilient, ecologically conscious landscapes that benefit both communities and the environment.

In addition to the Watershed Leadership Academy, Michael volunteers with the Lancaster County Conservation District and enjoys looking for new educational and networking opportunities. He enjoys playing soccer and going on hikes in his free time.
