Connect & Prep

Lancaster needs more resources and capacity to increase the scale and pace of restoration and conservation efforts in order to meet our collective goal of clean and clear water by 2040. Funding opportunities are a chance to share ideas, combine forces with our colleagues for bigger impact projects, plus craft and use a consistent message with the funders about how Lancaster collaborates for success in this effort.
National Fish and Wildlife Foundation’s Innovative Nutrient and Sediment Reduction applications are due by 12pm on November 5th
Susquehanna River Basin Commission’s Conowingo “pay for success” applications are due December 16th
Goals for the meeting:
- Strengthen applications by coordinating projects by watershed to minimize duplicative applications and implement priorities in the CAP.
- Standardize the language in each application to show that Lancaster is communicating about CAP priorities and implementation.
- Forms signed & questions answered!
