The Stormwater Action Team will meet on August 7th from 2-4:30pm at the Columbia River Park. The Lancaster Clean Water Consortium will be operating as the anchor group for this action team, so visit their website to learn more about their work with municipalities. www.lccwc.com/SW-action-team-
All partners are welcome to attend. Municipal staff and officials, developers, business owners, engineers, and planners are encouraged to attend. Your perspective and collaboration are so important as we work together to get Lancaster’s streams to clean and clear.
We will be discussing:
- PRPs a year later – What have we learned? How have our plans changed? What has been implemented? How do we report progress?
- BMP Maintenance Manual – Help property owners understand their BMP maintenance responsibilities. Do they know they have a BMP? How should they maintain it? What is the municipalities role?
Other agenda items:
- touring the Columbia Crossing River Trails site
- networking time
- free snacks
Attendees are also asked to bring a spreadsheet of the PRP projects in your community to help Lancaster County track BMP implementation and provide resources! Template and registration for the event available at www.lccwc.com/SW-action-team-
