The Stormwater Action Team invites MS4 Permittees to join us in a group viewing of an exclusive a webinar hosted by DEP and Penn State University, Center for Environmental Informatics on Friday, May 31, 2019 from 10 AM – 12 PM. The intention is to review a new system for preparing and submitting MS4 Annual Reports electronically to DEP.
DEP has been working with Penn State for several years to develop this online system and a beta version of the system is complete and is ready for testing. Testing has been done by DEP but they are seeking a broader group of participants to ensure that any remaining issues are identified and fixed, and eventually all MS4s with reporting obligations will be able to successfully use it.
Information will be provided during the webinar on how you may register to use the system if you wish to participate. If you do elect to participate, submission of your electronic report will satisfy your reporting obligation for the report due this year by September 30, 2019 (i.e., a separate hard copy report is not necessary). Please bring a laptop if you want to explore the system during the webinar.
Following the webinar, we will facilitate a group conversation to gather feedback and send our collective voice to DEP about how this online system can support clean water work. During that time, lunch will be provided.
Note – his invitation is only for MS4s in Lancaster and York Counties as this time, as a pilot. This hosted event is only for Lancaster municipal representatives.
